NJ Turnpike crash near Cherry Hill leaves 3 dead, state police say

The names of the three people killed in a one-car crash on the New Jersey Turnpike Thursday morning haven't yet been released, but the New Jersey State Police this afternoon confirmed they were all males.

The three men were pronounced dead at the scene of a one-car crash on the New Jersey Turnpike Thursday morning, New Jersey State Police said.

Driver identified in fatal New Jersey Turnpike crash

The driver has been identified as Segundo Romero, 45, of North Jersey. The identities of the other two men killed have not yet been released.

N.J. State Police identify 3 men in turnpike fatal crash as Maryland residents

Police responded to the crash near mile marker 31.3 just after 7 a.m. after the driver lost control of the car.
It was about 7:00am when an the driver of an SUV containing three men was driving in the left lane of the southbound New Jersey Turnpike when he veered across all lanes of traffic and departed the roadway , driving down an embankment until the car eventually hit another street. The three men were all pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver has been identified as Segundo Romero, 45, of North Jersey.
