Police found a 2013 Honda Civic driven by Richard Brownell, 79, of Selbyville, Delaware, was traveling south on Somers Point-Mays Landing Road near Old River Road when he struck a 15-year-old Mays Landing boy who was getting off the bus at 5:43 p.m.

The teen was hit in Hamilton Township just after 5:40 p.m. on Mays Landing Somers Point Road at the intersection of Old River Road, according to local police. The Mays Landing resident was flown to Cooper University Hospital in Camden to be treated.
