A 59-year-old Huntington man has been arrested, charged with vehicular assault and driving while intoxicated after a head-on crash that left a 10-year-old girl critically injured Tuesday night in Woodbury, Nassau County police said.
Eugene Golden charged with DWI in crash that seriously injured girl in Woodbury
Golden has been arrested for vehicular assault and DWI in connection with the accident.
Golden was admitted to a hospital and will be arraigned when medically practical.

Bail was set at $10,000 bond or $5,000 cash despite the NCDA requesting for bail to be set at $300,000 cash or $150,000 bond.
Golden faces up to 5 to 15 years in prison if convicted of the top count. He is due back in court on July 8.
