The Lewis County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday investigated a one sled snowmobile accident with injuries on the C8A snowmobile trail located in Confusion Flatts in the town of Greig.

Timothy J. Dodd was riding a 2009 Skidoo 600CC snowmobile near Little Otter Lake when he lost control of his sled while trying to negotiate a curve. He struck a tree head-on, and suffered a contrusion to his leg. He was taken to Lewis County General Hospital by Lewis County Search and Rescue Snowmobile. He has since been released from the hospital.
