Child dies a day after Independence Blvd. crash

Police say they are seeking additional charges against Caw Kam, who investigators say veered across four lanes of traffic before slamming into the driver’s side of Grayston’s Volvo.
  

3-Year-old dies at hospital 1 day after mother killed, sibling injured in wreck

Silje was pronounced dead at the scene. Her two sons, three-year-old Isaac and a one-year-old whose name has not been released, were taken to the hospital with injuries.
 A 3-year-old injured when an SUV crashed into the car his mother was driving Monday morning died on Tuesday and police are seeking additional charges against the driver they say is at fault. Isaac Rowell died just before 1 p.m. Tuesday from injuries he got in the crash on Independence Boulevard near Bojangles’ Coliseum just before 9 a.m. on Monday. Isaac’s mother, Silje Grayston, 28, died shortly after the crash.
