Carter Varnell, 31, charged for a his alleged role in a hit-and-run collision with a parked vehicle on Jetstream Drive in Wilson, North Carolina

Carter Varnell was arrested and charged around 4:30 a.m. Saturday. Officers found a green Toyota Sequoia with significant damage on Jetstream Drive, noticing that debris from the crash led to a home on Sabre Lane. Officers then discovered a gold Dodge Ram that appeared to be the other vehicle involved. Varnell was seen running from the truck.
