One dead after head-on crash in Lawrence County
According to the Ironton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on State Route 775 near milepost 3, about three miles north of Proctorville at around 9:44 p.m.
A 2003 Chevorlet Malibu was headed southbound on SR 775. The Chevorlet drove left of the center line and struck a Chrysler Town and Country head-on.
Doris A. Hetzel, 67, of Proctorville, the passenger in the Malibu, was pronounced dead after being transported to a nearby hospital.
