Person dies in wrong-way crash on I-240 after attempted armed robbery in southwest OKC

The suspects got onto I-240 in the wrong direction and crashed into another car in the westbound lanes near Santa Fe Avenue, according to police.

The innocent driver the suspects hit walked away from the crash with minor injuries after being treated at a nearby hospital. Police aren’t naming the deceased suspect pending notification of family.

Police say the surviving suspect from the armed robbery/fatality crash is 51-year-old Michael J. Milton. He has been booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on robbery charges.
