Father crashes vehicle in Catoosa, leaves family behind

Catoosa Police tell us an unidentified father crashed his vehicle just before midnight, near 193rd and Redbud. His wife and five children were also in the SUV. The father didn't stick around for officers to arrive. In fact, he left his family in the vehicle and fled the scene. In one crash late Friday night, it appears alcohol was thicker than blood. It's believed the man was intoxicated, when he crashed the SUV into a light pole.
