The westbound lanes between the Delaware Valley exit and the Route 1 exit reopened around 2:30 p.m.
State police: Drifting tractor-trailer driver caused accident
The tractor-trailer was traveling in the right lane of the highway shortly after 11 a.m. when it drifted off the north side of the road and its right front wheel scraped the north guard rail, according to a state police press release.

“The Neshaminy Creek is high so it should resolve itself with ‘solution by dilution,'” Edwards said. He added the Department of Enviromental Protectotion and Coast Guard have been notified should a fuel slick appear in the Delaware River.
An unnamed fuel tanker truck driver drifted across westbound lanes, hitting the guardrail and jackknifing the trailer, released approximately 100 gallons of diesel fuel into Neshaminy Creek. The investigation is ongoing.
