Elderly woman dies after head-on crash in Exton

Police investigators continued to investigate the crash for several hours. Commerce Drive was closed west of Exton Main Street until mid-afternoon. The official cause of the collision remains under investigation.
The crash between the two vehicles occured at around 11:45am. Medics were called to the scene as Smith was reported to be in cardiac arrest, though investigators aren't sure if it was as a result of the crash, or was what contributed to the cause of the crash. The 4-year-old boy was conscious and alert, but still taken to Paoli Hospital for treatment.
