Investigators are searching for the driver of the striking vehicle.
A young girl was hospitalized after being hurt by a car in a hit-and-run around 9:30 p.m. Friday near Frankford Avenue and Margaret Street. According to authorities, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene. The girl was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children where there no known information on her condition but she is expected to recover.
