Todd Trimble, 29, is dead after a mining accident at the Rose Bud Heilwood Mine on Route 403 in Heilwood, Pennsylvania

A man has died in a fatal mining accident in Indiana County,  Pennsylvania Friday. Todd Trimble, 29, was installing roof bolts when a boulder fell from the roof, trapping him. The accident occured at the Rose Helwood Mine on Route 403 in Heilwood. The county coroner's office said his coworkers found him and took him to the surface around 3:30 PM. An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday. We will have more details on this tragic story as they become available.
