The passenger of the vehicle, whose identity has not yet been released, was killed. The driver of the vehicle was transported to an area medical center, Collins said.

Colleton County Coroner Richard Harvey reports that John G. Walling, 53, of 694 Buffalo Lane, Walterboro was pronounced dead at the scene. He has listed the cause of death as multiple trauma.
