Mount Pleasant police looking for SUV driver that hit teen and kept going
He was being treated Wednesday for multiple fractures including a broken pelvis, a concussion and lacerations, his father said.
At 8:24 on Tuesday, a dark colored SUV hit a 17-year-old who was riding his skateboard. The SUV was coming from the Berkeley County area on Highway 41 when it hit the victim who was crossing the roadway from Dunes West towards Rivertowne. The SUV continued down Highway 41 towards Highway 17 without stopping. The victim was taken to the hospital.
