Accident closes one lane of Hwy 17 Bypass near Backgate

An accident closed one southbound lane of Highway 17 Bypass near Palmetto Pointe Boulevard, south of the Backgate and Farrow Parkway, Tuesday afternoon, according to the SCDOT. The accident occurred at about 1:02 p.m., according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
