2 dead, multiple injured in Robert Grissom Parkway wreck

As of about 8:30 p.m. two have died and multiple people have been transported to the hospital, according to Captain Joey Crosby.

Crosby said the two victims were pronounced dead at the scene. He added multiple other people were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.

Garth Treadway has been charged with three counts of felony DUI resulting in death, one count of felony DUI resulting in great bodily harm, hit and run attended vehicle and transporting alcohol in a motor vehicle with the seal broken, according to a release.

Judge: Man charged with DUI for triple-fatal crash 'could be very well looking at life'

Judge Clifford L. Welsh said that, based on the seriousness of the charges and Treadway's criminal history, he could be facing life in prison.
