Kadoka teen killed in one-vehicle accident

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says 16-year old McKenzie Stilwell of Kadoka was killed in a one-vehicle accident at about 6:30 last night in Mellette County. 
Around 6:30 Monday evening, 16-year old McKenzie Stilwell of Kadoka was driving a Ford F250 pickup on 248th Avenue south of Highway 63 near Norris when the truck's left tire entered the ditch after a turn. South Dakota Highway Patrol says Stilwell overcorrected and lost control, causing the pickup to roll. The teen was not wearing a seat belt, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in the truck, 16-year-old David Kary of Norris and 17-year-old Brennan Joe Kukal of Kadoka, were minorly injured.
