Troopers say Branson overcorrected and his vehicle flipped, rolling into Layman’s vehicle as it was upside down. The Blazer then slid into a guard rail. Branson and a passenger, Tabitha Jones, 26, were ejected from the vehicle. Troopers say another passenger, Mazzie Johnson, 13, was killed on impact. A third passenger, Marissa Earle, 30, was removed from the vehicle by citizens. Layman was also injured.
