1 killed, 2 injured in Macon County crash

One man was killed and two others were injured in a head-on crash Wednesday afternoon near Lafayette. Kim Rogers, 42, a passenger in Scruggs'€™ car, was not injured. He was revived at the scene after the 2:50 p.m. crash, but later died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The Mercury Sable Scruggs was driving was struck by a Chevy Trailblazer driven by Amy Aulick, 26, of Lafayette. Troopers said Michael E. Scruggs Jr., 36, of Westmoreland, was killed in the wreck.
