Crash kills one, injures two during police pursuit in Murfreesboro
The crash happened on Highway 231/Shelbyville Highway near Rucker Road around 3 a.m. Plotzer said the vehicle was not traveling in the proper lane of travel and fled from law enforcement.

During the pursuit, the driver of the Nissan ran off the side of the road. He then over-corrected, struck an embankment and rolled over several times, ejecting all three occupants.
A 16-year-old passenger, Ibram Riad of Antioch, was killed.
