Joshua Soper, 34, killed and Sheila Raymond, 38, and Robert Hardy, 38, injured after head-on crash on Nissan Drive in Smyrna, Tennessee

A driver is dead and two others were injured in a head-on collision in Smyrna on Tuesday night. The Smyrna Police Department says a Saturn Ion driven by Joshua Soper, 34, was traveling southbound on Nissan Drive when for unknown reasons it crossed over into oncoming lanes near Sam Davis Road, crashing head-on into a Nissan Pathfinder. Soper was pronounced dead at the scene. The Nissan driver, Sheila Raymond, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with unknown injuries. Her passenger, Robert Hardy, was brought to Stonecrest Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
