Man accused of leaving friend's body on side of road

A Kamas man is accused of driving drunk, crashing his car and leaving the body of his passenger in the weeds last week in Summit County. In charges filed Tuesday, police wrote that they found the body of Larry Paul early Oct. 24 on the ground near a pickup truck that apparently had rolled on State Road 150 just east of Kamas. The truck belonged to Randon Robertson, 20, so investigators went to Robertson's home and found him bleeding from what appeared to be a road rash on his shoulder, investigators wrote. When asked about the wreck, Robertson said he had hurt his arm at a skate park the night before and didn't know who had taken his car; he then filled out a stolen-car report.
