Lynette Kristina Hill killed in pedestrian collision on Bangerter Highway in Salt Lake City, Utah

Police have identified the victim of an auto-pedestrian incident on a Salt Lake City stretch of Bangerter Highway as a 34-year-old woman. Lynette Kristina Hill was fatally struck as she walked north, in the righthand, southbound lane of the highway, near 1700 South, at 4:23 a.m. Thursday. The Utah Highway Patrol said the victim was wearing dark clothing in the pre-dawn darkness and the driver of the car that hit her told troopers he was unable to stop in time to avoid the collision.
