Tuesday, September 1, 2015Troy Darnell Smith, 49, was killed when another driver exited the road, overcorrected, and collided with Smith’s car, causing him to crash into a tree at approximately 4 p.m. Tuesday on Route 40. Linda Sutton was driving the Jeep that overcorrected. Sutton sustained major injuries and was taken to Southside Regional Hospital.
