Police identify woman killed in Fluvanna crash

At about 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nicole J. Workman, of Palmyra, was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier north on Route 600, about a mile south of Route 618, when it went of the right side of the road, authorities said. Workman, 21, overcorrected the vehicle, which subsequently crossed the centerline and was struck by a 2008 Kia Rio heading south.  The driver of the Kia, Charles E. Brady, 39, of Palmyra, was transported to the University of Virginia Medical Center for serious injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
