John Milton Jones, 57, died after he was thrown from his motorcycle in a rear-end collision with a vehicle on U.S. Route 301 in Heathsville, Maryland

Police say the accident happened around 9:15 pm on U. S. Route 301 just north of Budds Creek Road. Officials say that a Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by 57 year-old John Milton Jones of Heathsville was traveling southbound on 301 when it struck the rear of a Kia Rio operated by a 68 year-old Clinton, Maryland driver. Jones was thrown off the motorcycle and landed in another southbound lane.
