Teen struck by car in Hazel Dell, critically injured

The boy was struck just after a two-car collision on the street sent one car onto the sidewalk, sheriff’s Sgt. Chad Rothenberger said. At about 6:15 p.m., an eastbound silver BMW attempted to turn left into a driveway just west of Columbia River High School when a westbound maroon Mazda, which was “going way too fast,” hit the BMW, Rothenberger said.
