2 injured in crash on Centralia I-5 onramp

Speed is believed to be a factor in a crash on an Interstate 5 off-ramp near Centralia that left two injured Friday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Daniel R. Miller, 72, of Rochester was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer south on the Exit 82 off-ramp at 3:57 p.m. when he struck a 1999 Toyota pickup being driven by Kenneth C. Floyd, 62, of Rainier. Floyd was stopped at a red light behind a 1990 Ford F-250 pickup and a 1997 Plymouth Voyager. The momentum from the collision pushed Floyd’s pickup into the F-250, which in turn struck the Plymouth. Floyd was injured and taken to Providence Centralia Hospital. Miller’s passenger, Cheralyne Miller, 72, of Rochester, was also injured and taken to the hospital. The cause of the accident was determined to be speed.Get help for an injured person after a serious accident A serious car accident can quickly take over your life.
