Driver Dies After Hitting a Car Head On Near Moses Lake, Injuring Five Posted: Updated: One person died and five people were taken to the hospital. GRANT CO, WA- A 29-year-old was killed early Sunday morning after their car collided head on with another car. Washington State Patrol said a little after midnight on Sunday, a 29-year-old driver in a silver Ford Excursion on SR17 near Moses Lake, was northbound and crossed the center line and collided head on with a white Volkswagen Jetta, carrying five people. The five people in the Jetta were taken to Samaritan Hospital.  That driver's name has not been released because the next of kin has not been notified.
