Doroteo Alvarez, 54, injured in rear-end crash with semi-truck on State Route 223 in Granger, WA
Granger collision sends driver to hospital
Alvarez’s 2000 Chevy K1 pickup was damaged and towed, as was Moore’s 2011 Peterbilt tractor-trailer.
At around 10:00am, Alvarez made a turn onto SR 223 and ran into the back of a semi-truck driven by Stephen Moore, 48. Alvarez was injured and taken to the hospital, but has already been treated and released; he will likely be cited with failure to yield the right of way. Moore was not injured in the accident.5 things survivors of a commercial truck accident need to know After someone is seriously injured in an accident involving a commercial truck, they struggle to deal with injuries, medical treatments, lost work and wages, and growing medical bills.
