Yakima man injured after his car collides with motorcycle
Vang was wearing a helmet and Oniell was using a seat belt, the State Patrol reported. The accident is under investigation.
52-year-old Michael W. Oniell, of Yakima, was injured Friday afternoon, October 10, after hitting a motorcycle with his car. The accident occured on State Route 410 just outside of Naches, Washington around 2:55 p.m. when 53-year-old Thai Vang, driving westbound, crossed the center line into the eastbound lane, in which Oniell was driving. Vang lost control of his motorcycle and was ejected. Oniell was transported to Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center, where his condition was being evaluated. Vang was not injured.
