Valentin Munoz-Mendez, 27, dead after running stop sign at McDonald Road and Lateral A and colliding with other car near Wapato, WA

On Wednesday afternoon, Munoz-Mendez was driving west on McDonald Road when he did not stop at the stop sign at the intersection with Lateral A, and collided with a car driven by Estephanie Lopez-Pena, 19, who was driving north on that road. While Munoz-Mendez was killed in the accident, Lopez-Pena was transported to the hospital and has already been treated and released. Check back for updates.
