A crash Friday resulted in the death of a Plymouth teen, police said. The driver was a 16-year-old female from Robbinsdale, Minn., and the other passenger was a 15-year-old male from Plymouth. After veering onto the shoulder, the driver attempted to regain control, over-corrected and rolled, ending up in the median, police said. At about 7:18 p.m., the car veered onto the shoulder of Interstate 94 eastbound near mile marker 76 near Washington Township in Eau Claire County, Wis., the Wisconsin State Patrol said in a report.

A Minnesota teenager has died in a rollover accident on Interstate 94 near Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The two survivors were taken to Eau Claire hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The Leader-Telegram reports the name of the 16-year-old boy from Plymouth, Minnesota, has not been released, nor have the names of two others hurt in Friday evening's crash, the 16-year-old female driver from Robbinsdale, Minnesota, and a 15-year-old male from Plymouth. The Wisconsin State Patrol says the three teenagers were in a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt that was traveling eastbound on I-94 when it veered onto the shoulder just east of the U.S. Highway 53 interchange. The driver attempted to regain control, overcorrected and the vehicle rolled into the median.
