50 year old motorcyclist killed in crash on Interstate 43 on May 24.

A 50-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 43 on Saturday.

Authorities with the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office said the man died when his motorcycle left the highway and struck a median barrier in Mukwonago.

Officials said the crash happened about 10 p.m. in the northbound lanes north of Highway 83.

Two other vehicles were also involved in a secondary crash, but the people in those vehicles were not hurt.

I-43 was closed for about five hours while an investigation was completed.
