One person is dead after a deer hit two vehicles early Friday morning, according to a post on the Marathon County Sheriff's Department Facebook page.

For the past 8 years he owned and operated Arnie’s Farm Care and he assisted organic farmers all across the state. He was a member of St. Mary’s Oratory, the church choir and The Holy Name Society. He enjoyed beer making, hunting, and spending time with his children in the woods. He was a good and loyal friend and loved his faith.

Marathon County Sheriff's officials say a car struck a deer on Highway 97 in the Town of Cleveland early Friday. The deer was then thrown into the windshield of a van driven by 42-year-old Michael Rogan of Stratford, and Rogan died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. At the time of the accident, Rogan was driving his wife, Niki, to the hospital for the birth of their 8th child. Niki and their seven children suffered minor injuries in the crash and were also brought to St. Joseph's, where Niki gave birth to a baby boy hours later. According to a GoFundMe page set up by friends of the family, Michael Rogan's funeral will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 25, at St. Mary's Oratory in Wausau, Wisconsin.
