57-year-old Barry Scutt from Batavia is dead following a wrong-way crash in Canandaigua on Saturday. The accident happened on Route 5 around 3 p.m. when 68-year-old Steven Kloos was driving west on Route 5 when he lost control and blacked out at the wheel due to a medical condition. Kloos then struck a mailbox and road sign with his car according to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office. Kloos' vehicle then continued westbound on Route 5 in the eastbound lane and struck 57 year old Barry Scutt head on.

Oberlin Police and fire responded to an accident involving two school buses at approximately 12:04 p.m. Thursday. Students from Lorain County JVS were being transported back to school from a field trip when the accident occurred. 69 people were on the bus, mostly students. One school bus rear-ended the other bus, causing the accident. The accident happened in front of the Oberlin fire station, making it easy for fire crews to respond.

Several passengers have been taken to the hospital after a Lynx bus was involved in a crash in Orange County Thursday morning. The crash occurred on North Orange Blossom Trail and Rosamond Drive in Orlando just before 10 a.m. A picture from the crash scene shows a Toyota truck crashed into the back of the Lynx bus. Orange County Fire Rescue said eight Lynx bus passengers were taken to the hospital and one person declined to be hospitalized. Orange Blossom Trail was closed as the investigation continued, but was reopened shortly after 10:30 a.m.

A 32-year-old man was killed in a crash Thursday night. According to the highway patrol, the crash happened at 9:42 p.m. Thursday in the southbound lane of Interstate 85 at mile marker 102, which is in the Blacksburg city limits. To see pictures of the scene, click here. Troopers say a 2012 Dodge pick-up was traveling at a high rate of speed when it rear-ended a 1995 Mercury, overturned, and landed in the median. Both of the truck's occupants were ejected from the vehicle. Neither were wearing seat belts according to troopers.

The head-on collision late Wednesday that killed two drivers is fourth fatal wreck involving drivers heading the wrong way on U.S. Highway 1 between Southern Pines and Sanford in the last six years, according to authorities. A Toyota SUV driven by Terrell Abbott, 36, of Texas, was southbound in the northbound lanes of U.S. 1 north of Southern Pines at about 10:45 p.m. when it slammed into a Toyota sedan driven by Jasmine Wicker, 20, of Sanford, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol said.

Authorities are investigating a MARTA bus accident in DeKalb County. According to DeKalb County Police, the accident happened on Panola Road when the driver of a Dodge Charger struck the back of the bus. Witnesses say in an effort to avoid collision, the MARTA bus jumped the curb and struck a utility pole. It is unclear if there were any passengers on the bus, at the time of the accident. Power lines in the area are down, as a result of the accident. Georgia Power is on the scene.

Two Los Angeles police officers are recovering after a suspected drunken driver crashed into them, then sped away from the scene. Investigators say the officers were traveling northbound on Vermont Avenue, just south of 74th Street, when they were rear-ended by a white BMW around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. The officers' vehicle was disabled in the crash, and the suspect's car received front-end damage and a broken rim.

A crash on Interstate 10 involving a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office police cruiser and a minivan caused major traffic delays Tuesday. The crash happened on the interstate near U.S. Highway 301 about 9:15 a.m. Police said the minivan with four women inside and the JSO cruiser were heading west on I-10 when the minivan slowed down to avoid an accident ahead. Van in JSO crash Police said the officer didn't see the van slow down and the cruiser rear-ended it. The van spun in the roadway and the patrol car left the road and went into a ditch.

The truck crashed after it turned into head-on traffic while trying to evade police. However, police were stunned when one of the women — who they noticed appeared to be pregnant — suddenly went into labor.

Authorities said three people died at the scene of a Sunday night crash. The crash occurred just after 8:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 311. Gina Ann Caraballo, 41, and her daughter, Kayla, 12, died at the scene. A third person in the car, Breanna Burrow, 11, also died at the scene. The North Carolina Highway Patrol said Caraballo's car crossed the center line and hit another car head-on. Two people in that car were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The crash is still under investigation.
