A Monaghan Township man died Thursday night in a motorcycle crash in Fairview Township, according to police. Wayne Harmon, 60, was killed around 10:55 p.m. when the motorcycle he was riding crashed in the area of Siddonsburg Road and Markham Court, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma and was wearing a helmet, York County Chief Deputy Coroner Claude Stabley said. The crash involved only Harmon's motorcycle, but police believe he was riding with a second motorcycle at the time of the crash. It remains under investigation.

A 45-year-old Manheim man was admitted to hospital Saturday morning with life-threatening injuries after he was thrown off his motorcycle during a crash with a car. Two other people were injured, but released from hospital. The crash happened just after 11 a.m. at the intersection of Bucknoll Road and Holly Tree Road in Penn Township, Lancaster County.

Police have identified the 81-year-old man who was seriously injured in a crash on Highway 20 near Lebanon Thursday afternoon. Samuel Slaughter of Sweet Home suffered serious injuries in a crash involving a commercial truck pulling a semi trailer and a car. Oregon State Police said at about 1 p.m. a commercial truck pulling a semi-trailer stopped on westbound Highway 20 to wait for train to pass by so the driver could turn into a driveway.

Police have identified the man killed in a Lancaster County crash early Thursday morning. Curtis Raymond Groff, 21, of Denver Borough, was killed when his pickup ran off Millstone Road in Clay Township, hit a tree and caught fire around 12:30 a.m. Thursday, according to Northern Lancaster County Regional Police. The crash is still under investigation.

A man was killed after being hit by a car on Route 222 in Lancaster County Thursday night. The accident happened around 8:20 p.m. near the Cocalico Creek Bridge. Police said the victim, John Rineer Jr., 66, of Ephrata, got out of his car after something fell off the trailer he was towing. He was struck when he went to pick up the debris. Rineer was taken to Lancaster General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Police said the driver who struck him is a woman from New Jersey. There is no word on whether she will be charged.

A 74-year-old man on a bicycle was struck and killed by a tractor trailer late Wednesday night, according to Silver Spring Township police. The accident occurred at about 11:45 p.m. near the intersection of the Carlisle Pike and Ridge Hill Road, police said. The bicyclist, later identified as Donald Bruce Brown, was pronounced dead at the scenes by the Cumberland County coroner's office. Police said the driver of the tractor trailer, who is from Ohio, stopped at the scene and immediately called 911 for help.

Police say speed was a factor in a fatal motorcycle crash at 4:40 p.m. on Saturday in the 2700 block of Craley Road in Lower Windsor Township, York County. Investigators say the accident claimed the life of 60-year-old Ralph Brookens of Wrightsville. The York County Deputy Coroner, says, Brookens was traveling at a high rate of speed when his motorcycle went off the road. Brookens died in the ambulance en route to the hospital, according to Goodfellow. Lower Windsor Township Police Department is investigating the crash.

In Lancaster County, one woman is dead and another remains hospitalized after a crash in Rapho Township. Police say an SUV and car crashed head-on Wednesday in the 1300 block of Auction Road. The driver of the SUV, Bonnie Miller, of Columbia, died at the scene. The other driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

A Lancaster County man died early this morning following a one-vehicle accident along the 800 block of Reading Road in Brecknock Township, state police said. Troopers found the overturned vehicle of Vincent Troupe, 23, of East Earl, at about 12:30 a.m. in the Black Creek. Troupe's body was also found in the creek, he was not wearing a seatbelt, according to a press release from the state police.

Wilson County Sheriff officials have identified the victim in the deadly ultralight aircraft crash as David "Bucky" Carter, of Nashville. Emergency crews were called around 10:45 a.m. to the scene, Saturday morning. They found the aircraft in the 300 block of Edwards Road, which is right off of Salem Road. According to officials, the victim was an experienced pilot. We will continue to bring you the latest as it becomes available.
