7-year-old girl, seriously injured, transported to hospital, after she is struck by a car, while trying to cross the intersection of Queen Emma and School streets in Honolulu.

A seven-year-old girl was hospitalized Tuesday after being hit by a car near the intersection of Queen Emma and School Streets.

Honolulu police were notified at 3:07 p.m. Witnesses say she was apparently trying to cross the street when the car hit her and bystanders ran over to help.
