Two-vehicle crash claims life of Geneva County man

A 40-year-old Geneva County man died Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Alabama Highway 27 within the city limits of Geneva. The two-vehicle crash claimed the life of 40-year-old Jason Wayne Mims of Chancellor. The Geneva County Sheriff’s Office and the troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency assisted in the traffic investigation. Ricky Morgan, police responded to a traffic accident around 7:30 a.m. on Alabama Highway 27, just north of Geneva. The accident remains under investigation by the Geneva Police Department’s traffic homicide division.
