Bicyclist in critical condition after being struck by car at intersection.

There were some scary moments at a Phoenix intersection Saturday evening when a vehicle crashed into a bike rider.

It happened at Seventh Street and Pima just south of Buckeye Road at about 6:30 p.m.

Police said the bicyclist did not have the right of way.

The driver stayed at the scene and there were no signs of impairment, officers said.

The bicyclist remains in the hospital in extremely critical condition. The person's name has not been released.
