Phoenix police seek driver in deadly hit-and-run

Police say it happened near 43rd Avenue and Indian School Road. The victim was an adult male, according to Officer James Holmes, a Phoenix police spokesman.

PD: Pickup truck in fatal hit-and-run crash may have been street racing

Holmes said the pickup is missing right side mirror.

Phoenix Police asks anyone who may have been in the area or anyone with information concerning the collision to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.

Witnesses told investigators the truck appeared to be racing with a white or gray four-door sedan before the collision, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-948-6377.

Police investigate deadly hit & run crash

Police want to find the driver of a gray pickup truck that crashed into the victim and sped off.  Officers say the driver may have been racing with a white or gray sedan.  A second driver then hit the victim as well, but that driver stopped to help.
