Jonesboro woman killed in Saturday wreck on Hwy. 1

A Jonesboro woman was killed Saturday in a wreck just outside of Jonesboro on State Highway 1. The driver lost control of the car and hit a GMC Acadia, which was traveling south, head-on. The driver then saw a semi-truck traveling south and swerved back into the northbound lane. According to the Arkansas State Police crash report, there were no other injuries. Traffic was blocked for about 2 hours while two medical helicopters and several ambulances were called to the scene.

This accident spoke of above; on that Saturday Evening when the lady was fatally killed due to the head on collision caused by the driver of the vehicle of which she was a passenger; was indeed a tragic event. However; if there were no other injuries; why did we needs two helicopters; aumbulances; and firemen to cut brutally beaten bodies from the SUV; of which the driver was hit so hard head on that it nearly snapped her neck; shoved the motor into her legs, crushing her bones, burned her flesh; leaving her nearly lifeless body there to lie & wait on 1st responders and medical help to arrive. Worst Day Of My Life...23+ months down; a lifetime of recovering to go!! There were injuries; in both cars!!!
