Infant killed: Mother and baby crossing street struck by truck

TODDLER KILLED, MOTHER INJURED IN PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT

In California, pedestrians have the right-of-way. It is the responsibility of motorists to steer clear of any person on foot in our roadways. When a pedestrian is struck and injured or killed by an automobile there is the potential of both a criminal case and a civil case against the driver of the offending vehicle.
