Motorcyclist, bicyclist, injured in Denver collision on Broadway

At least two people were taken to a local hospital Wednesday when a motorcycle and bicycle collided in Denver. An earlier traffic accident, near East Alameda and South Holly Street, also resulted in injury, according to the police department's Twitter feed. The incident happened about 7:30 p.m. at 3rd Avenue and Broadway, said Eranda Piyasena, a Denver Police Department spokesman. The earlier accident also shut down traffic lanes in the area. The intersection was shut down to traffic after the crash.

I was a witness to the accident.  Does anyone know if the bicyclist was okay?  It was very scary.  He was bleeding from the head and I was worried for his life.  

Joe - I may know the cyclist. What happened? How did the two collide? Any info in appreciated.
