A 63-year-old bicyclist was hospitalized Tuesday night after he slammed into a Clearwater officer's cruiser, police said.

At about 10:43 p.m., 63-year-old David C. Robinson was riding a bicycle southbound on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, but did not stop at the red light at the intersection with Court Street, and collided with an unmarked police vehicle driven by Sgt. Kevin Insco. Robinson was tranpsorted to the hospital via helicopter, but was expected to fully recover.
