Jayden Readon was on a sidewalk near his home on Saturday afternoon when he was hit.
The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office says the car was being driven by 20-year-old Lex Eugene, who was fleeing Boynton Beach police after they tried to stop him for reckless driving.
