Story by CBS12 Web team HAVERHILL, Fla. (CBS12) -- Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office are asking for information about a fatal hit and run that happened late Saturday evening. PBSO report an unknown pedestrian steeped out onto the road and was struck by the vehicle in the left lane. Anyone with information regarding this crash is asked to contact Investigator Robert Stephan with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office at 561-681-4539. Police say the accident happened at the corned of Haverhill Road and Club Road around 11:36 p.m. They say two vehicles were traveling southbound on Haverhill Rd, one in the left land and the other in the right lane.

PBSO looking for car that struck, killed pedestrian in Haverhill

The crash victim was identified as Marbin Martinez Vargas. Investigators from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office say two cars struck Vargas and then fled the scene. One of the cars has been identified as a 2011-2013 Toyota Corolla with driver’s side front damage.
