Motorcycle crash sends two riders to hospital; WB Belvedere re-opens at Benoist Farms.

A crash at Belvedere Road and Benoist Farms has injured two riders on a motorcycle, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue spokesman Capt. Albert Borroto said. Westbound lanes of Belvedere re-opened at 8:40 a.m.

The wreck occurred around 7 a.m. at the intersection of Belvedere and Benoist Farms roads.

Palm Beach Fire and Rescue tweeted that two patients were airlifted to St. Mary's Medical Center.

The road was closed for more than an hour but back open by 8:45 a.m.

A deputy at the scene said both of the victims on the motorcycle are in very serious condition.

Officials believe the motorcycle pulled out in front of an woman driving a sport-utility vehicle, causing the wreck.

The condition of the SUV driver is unknown.
