The Hyundai struck the rear of a semi-trailer, which was being pulled by a 2016 Freightliner semi-truck driven by a 62-year-old Hawthorn Woods man. The Hyundai then struck a southbound Lincoln SUV, driven by a 46-year-old Cary man.
Coroner identifies 53-year-old woman killed in three-vehicle crash on Route 59 in Lake Barrington
An autopsy performed Wednesday showed Karen Flintz, 53, of Schaumburg, died as a result of blunt force injuries from a vehicle crash, according to Lake County Coroner Jennifer Banek.
